With the WHOIS protection service, you’ll be able to mask your private information that can be seen online upon a WHOIS lookup on your domain. Thus, if somebody carries out a WHOIS lookup on your domain, they will see fictional info instead of your private details. With this feature activated, you won’t ever need to worry that someone may use your address or phone number to bother you.

The WHOIS protection functionality is available with most of the TLD extensions offered on our web sute and you can find it in the Domain Manager included in your Control Panel.

The Domain Manager gives you the opportunity to address a particular target audience based upon its whereabouts. With our GeoIP redirection tool, you’ll be able to effortlessly point the visitors from a particular geographic area to a particular section of your website that addresses their needs. For instance, if you want to have a French version of your web site, you can easily set up a subdomain fr.your–website.com and utilize the tool to redirect the visitors from France and from the French–speaking countries to this particular subdomain.

The GeoIP redirection tool offers a user–friendly interface through which you can set up a redirection with a click of the mouse. There is no need to insert any code in the .htaccess file.

The Domain Manager has an integrated Custom DNS section from where you will be able to easily configure all types of DNS settings for your domain. With just one click, you can set A, AAAA, MX, NS, CNAME, SRV and TXT resource records and modify them anytime you like! Simply fill in the new value for the DNS resource record that you’d like to add and click on the Add button!

Via our Domain Manager, you can even register name servers for your domain name and revert a DNS entry to its former state with a single click!

When registering a domain name, you’ll be required to supply correct and up–to–date domain registration info, irrespective of whether you’re a person or a firm. That’s why, you will have to update your WHOIS records whenever needed. On the other hand, not all Top–Level Domain extensions support this feature by default, so first check if this option is available before attempting a WHOIS update.

Through the Domain Manager in your Control Panel, you will be able to alter the registrant, admin and technical contact info for one or multiple domains at the same time. All the changes that you make will be updated live right away!

By locking your domain name, you can defend it against unsolicited transfers. This way, anybody who tries to trigger a transfer of your domain name to some other domain name registrar will be momentarily stopped.

And if you have to transfer your domain name to a different registrar yourself, you can unlock it with one click of the mouse. The domain locking/unlocking feature is included in the Domain Manager section of your Control Panel. Simply click on a domain name and click the Registrar Lock button to lock/unlock it.

With the Wildcard DNS functionality, you will be able to make all your subdomains direct to the main page of your website. For instance, if someone types in smth.domain.com or any.domain.com, they will go to http://domain.com/.

You might need the Wildcard DNS feature for a multisite web application like Joomla^™ Multi–Site or WordPress.

To activate a wildcard domain, proceed to the Domain Manager section of your Control Panel and press the Add Host button on the right. At the bottom of the list of options, you will see the Wildcard Domain check box.
